I’m extremely lucky as my memories of Christmas as a child are all wonderful ones & my parents always made sure Christmas was a fun, & happy and all about family time. As I got into my late teens Christmas was still an amazing time but for different reasons as by then I had a great social life & loved the party side of Christmas & nothing could beat Christmas Eve & New Years Eve nights out!!!

Although I travelled extensively with work throughout my twenties I was very lucky to only spend one Christmas away from home. The year I was away was going into the Millennium & Carnival Cruise lines went all out to make it an unbelievable experience so I still had an amazing time.

It was a few weeks before Christmas 7 years ago when Isabelle thought she would like to do something that year for children who weren’t as lucky as her. She’d seen a Christmas Advert by the Salvation Army and it sparked a thought in her young mind. We had lots of ideas of what we could do and eventually came up with the idea of our Angel Tree.
As I run a dancing school, I have my own studios where many many parents with equally lucky children come every day so we thought it would be nice to get them all to think about other children who don’t have the wonderful lives and opportunities they do!IMG_5371

Never have I been so glad for a new month to start as this December. November has consisted of hours and hours of work with very little time for home life and my family which has been hard, so the next few weeks leading up to Christmas is all about my family and home life. I’m still working but last month I was doing up to 60 hours a week along with even more work at home and I need to focus on my children and Tony this month.

FABULOUS THINGS THAT HAPPENED LAST MONTH
