MY FIVE GOLDEN LIFE RULES
1. Try not to stress too much
Easier said than done for me as I’m a bit of a worrier and stress head. As I’ve reached my 40’s I’m trying very hard to not let things worry me as much and the motto I go by is: ‘ If it won’t matter in 5 years it’s not worth worrying about now’
2. Seize the day
‘Why put off until tomorrow what you can do today’
It’s easy to procrastinate and not get things done or not go for things but you only get one life so you have to grab every opportunity that comes your way
3. Smile often
A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear. It also makes you feel better and can brighten someone else’s day.
4. Self care
Self care isn’t selfish. It’s looking after your own health and well being so your fit enough to look after those around you.
5. Take an interest
If you’re only interested in yourself you’ll be a very dull person. You learn new things from every person you meet, every place you go and experience you have so take an interest in everything that is going on around you.
